About the role

You'll support the bioinformatics team with the day-to-day work that keeps analyses moving: running established pipelines on new datasets, performing quality-control checks, organizing and annotating data files, maintaining sample and metadata records, and helping prepare tables and figures for reports. With guidance from senior analysts, you'll gradually take on scripting tasks and small independent analyses as your skills develop.

What you will bring

You're early in your bioinformatics career with solid coursework or co-op experience in sequence analysis. You're comfortable with basic Python or R and the command line, careful with file organization and naming, and honest about what you don't know yet.
