About the role

You'll set the research agenda and lead the teams that deliver it: defining priorities, allocating budget and people across projects, and reviewing study designs and results before they go out the door. You'll secure funding through grants, partnerships, or internal cases, represent the organization with collaborators and at conferences, and develop your scientists. You'll balance scientific ambition against timelines and budgets, and own the quality of everything published.

What you will bring

You're an accomplished researcher who has grown into leadership: a strong publication or delivery record, experience winning funding, and a history of building productive teams. You give sharp scientific feedback without micromanaging and think in multi-year horizons.
