About the role
You'll design, optimize, and scale the processes that turn cells into product: developing fermentation or cell-culture protocols, running bioreactors from bench to pilot scale, analyzing yield and quality data, troubleshooting deviations, and transferring processes to manufacturing with clear documentation. You'll work with quality and operations to keep everything compliant, and you'll design experiments that isolate variables instead of guessing.
What you will bring
You have an engineering or bioprocessing background with hands-on bioreactor experience, upstream, downstream, or both. You think in mass balances and control parameters, keep meticulous batch records, and enjoy the puzzle of coaxing a biological system into consistent performance.

Required Qualifications
- Degree in chemical, biochemical, or bioprocess engineering or a related field
- Hands-on experience with bioreactors, fermentation, or cell culture at bench or pilot scale
- Familiarity with GMP documentation and process-validation principles
- Eligibility to work in Canada
