1. Acceptance of these terms
By using MassachusettsStemJobs at massachusettsstemjobs.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your password secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You agree to notify us immediately by opening a support ticket if you notice any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: post fraudulent or misleading job listings,
impersonate another person or company, harass other users, scrape
the Service in violation of robots.txt, attempt to
disrupt the Service, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
5. Job listings and applications
Employers are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the job listings they post. Job seekers are solely responsible for the content of their applications. We do not verify the truth of either, but we do verify that posting accounts are real businesses and we remove listings that violate these Terms.
6. Fees and payments
Some features of the Service require payment (e.g. credits to post jobs, optional employer subscriptions). All fees are clearly displayed before purchase and processed by our third-party payment processor. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
7. Content ownership
You retain ownership of the content you submit (job listings, resumes, profiles, messages). By submitting, you grant MassachusettsStemJobs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service. The Service itself, including its design, code, and trademarks, remains our property.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any job seeker will be hired or that any employer will receive qualified applications. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MassachusettsStemJobs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or where required by law. Sections 7 (Content ownership), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of liability), and any payment obligations survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and (where significant) emailed to account holders. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
